This week in First Bass And Beyond is Column 2 of my new Blues Bass For Beginners Column. In Column 2 as well as a detailed note by note tutorial of the main parts of Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley, we’re also going to extract some core vocabulary from it and play that vocabulary in every key as well (as in 8th notes rather than just quarter notes).
