Here’s the seventh of my series of Quickguide videos. This tutorial is for the first part of Tommy Shannon’s bass line on Love Struck Baby from the first Stevie Ray Vaughan album.
In this video we’re looking at three basic parts: the intro, the 12 bar chorus and the 8 bar verse.
Each section features a playalong at performance tempo with soundalike backing track, and then a playalong at slowed tempo with a metronomic drum track with a hi-hat providing an 8th note pulse.
