Here’s a video that PG Music made showing some of the new features of Band In A Box 2012:
Although there are faults with Band In A Box, it is one of the best practice tools that bass guitar players can use in my opinion. The latest release has a really cool 60s R&B set of real tracks that I use for my Motown Style Grooves for bass guitar videos. (That’s grooves in the styles of Motown players like James Jamerson and Bob Babbitt).
I’ll be making a tutorial video over a feature that’s buried in the Band In A Box menus – it’s called the Woodshed feature. It’s brilliant for learning complex sections of tunes.
