Cello Etude Played On Bass Guitar – Dotzauer Etude 25

Those of you who are First Bass And Beyond subscribers know I’m going through the Bach Suite Nr 1 Prelude in G Major at the moment.? Also on my radar are Cello etudes by a composer called Dotzauer.? Rumour has it that Jaco used Dotzauer’s etudes to help build his technique – and it didn’t turn out too bad for Jaco!

Here’s a clip from the ‘Toob of Cello Etude Nr 25 played on bass guitar – if you watch closely you’ll see why these etudes are so good for your playing:
