Isolated Bass Guitar – Duran Duran – Girls On Film

July 1, 2012 by Paul Wolfe

Here’s an isolated bass line that I thought I’d shared on the blog section of the website – but apparently not!? It’s John Taylor’s bass line for Girls On Film. I’ll be transcribing this for First Bass And Beyond shortly, so if you’re a subscriber watch out for it. (If you’re not a subscriber….click the link!)

    Hi Paul Wolfe,
Maybe a little off topic, however, I’m a guitar player, and I was wondering if it is possible to rip the audio tracks off of the dvds? It would be awesome if I could isolate the tracks so I could have just the drums, bass and vocals going. This way I could jam along with my own guitar. If anyone has a way of going about this I would greatly appreciate it.
    Kindest Regards

That is possible….a lot of the guitar hero game tracks are ‘ripped’ and floating around on the old Interwebz. They tend to be ‘OGG’ files and you need software to line them up togehter. But it can be done.
