James Jamerson – For Once In My Life – Bass guitar – Stevie Wonder

Here’s the last – but not the least – of my current top 10 favourite Jamerson bass lines. This is his virtuoso performance on Stevie Wonder’s reading of the hoary old standard For Once In My Life.

Jamerson is killing on this. His bass line is freaking crazy – there’s not one bar (NOT ONE!) that repeats in the whole tune.
