Here’s a clip I found on YouTube about a guitar course taught by shredding maestro Paul Gilbert in association with a company called Artist Works:
What I like the idea of is they have a part of their program where students can upload videos of playing of various exercises – and then Paul records a video critiquing their video and making suggestions.
And those videos get made available to all the students…so improving their learning experience.
At some stage in 2013 I plan to re-record all the videos for Cracking The Detroit Code and update the course…this kind of idea could be something that I could incorporate. I haven’t worked out how the mechanism would work….but it might be really cool.
